Everton XI To Face Chelsea

Everton make two changes for tonight’s Premier League clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Beto comes in for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who misses out on the matchday squad due to a tight hamstring along with Idrissa Gana Gueye (calf), to lead the Toffees’ attack, while Amadou Onana returns in midfield ahead of Andre Gomes, with the Portuguese dropping to the bench.

Meanwhile, Arnaut Danjuma is among the substitutes having completed 90 minutes for Everton Under-21s last week following his recovery from the ankle injury sustained at Fulham in late January.

Onana - who missed the Blues’ 1-0 victory over Burnley last time out with a minor groin issue - is fit again to make his 50th Premier League start for the Club and is joined in midfield by Abdoulaye Doucoure and James Garner.

Beto is supported in attack by Dwight McNeil and Ashley Young, with Everton’s defence once again formed of captain Seamus Coleman, James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite and Vitalii Mykolenko, with Jordan Pickford in goal.

On Calvert-Lewin and Gana's absences, boss Sean Dyche said in his pre-match interview: "Dom's got a tight hamstring, nothing more, so we’re happy in the sense that we think it will recover quickly. It was a tight call. We also lost Gana this morning who woke up with a tight calf."
