Karen Holmgaard reflected on the 'amazing' feeling to be back playing for Everton as the Denmark international returned from injury over the weekend.

The 25-year-old last featured for the Toffees back in December's win over West Ham, where the midfielder nodded home a Sara Holmgaard delivery to secure an important win on the road. 

Three months on, the Danish twin returned to action late into Everton's draw with Liverpool at Goodison Park, as she now looks to return to match fitness for the final games of the Women's Super League season.
