Boris Mathis penned a two-year contract with Everton in July 2017, after leaving Ligue 1 outfit Metz as a free agent.

The French striker, who is known for his pace and technical ability, will link up with the reigning Premier League 2 champions in 2017/18.

A product of Lyon’s academy, Mathis joined Metz in 2015 and made his professional debut for Les Grenats in April 2017. He made one more first-team appearance before joining Everton in the summer of 2017.

In January 2018, Mathis joined League One Northampton Town on a loan deal.

Contracted until: June 2019
