A banner-waving Evertonian saw his wish come true following Saturday’s final home game of the season against Southampton as striker Cenk Tosun picked him out of the crowd and handed over his match worn shirt.

Along with other Toffees supporters, the youngster had made his way to the side of the tunnel entrance at Goodison Park with a homemade poster carrying Tosun’s name and the words ‘Give me my dream and give me your top’.

The Blues were wearing their 2018/19 Umbro home kit for the first time following its unveiling on Monday, 30 April.
