Volunteering is a vital component of all that Everton in the Community is and does.
With over 60 live programmes, the support of volunteers who selflessly donate their time to our charity is invaluable. As well as meeting new people, learning and exchanging new skills and giving back to your local community, many of our Everton in the Community volunteers have benefitted from further opportunities in education and/or training, with a number obtaining full-time roles within Everton’s official charity.
Whether you can donate an hour a month, some time before a match or perhaps more, it all goes a long way in making a huge difference to our local community. As just a small way of saying thank you, all volunteers will also be eligible for the EitC rewards Scheme, which is based on hours and service to the charity.
Each year, we show our appreciation to our volunteers at Everton in the Community’s Annual Volunteer Awards which are hosted at Goodison Park.
The first step to becoming a volunteer is to attend a recruitment awareness session. This will allow us to inform you of all the current opportunities we have available and for you to ask any questions you may have.
We are currently in the process of reviewing our volunteer system which we hope to have completed by the end of the season. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit the website from May onwards for further information and to apply.
